Are you a smart car rider?
July 13, 2010 | in The Daily DriveI was driving to work today and I was passed by two gentlemen in a “smart car” – they had to have been going at least 80 miles per hour. These cars fascinate me. For one, they obviously have a growing fan base as I see more and more of them on the road. I was actually fairly impressed they were able to pass me because, well, I did not know they had that kind of power.
That said, I cannot believe how small they are and I worry about driver safety. With all those large vehicles on the road with a car that small, are the drivers and passengers truly safe?
There is an interesting safety driving video with respect to “Smart cars” and I find some of the content telling especially the summary.
Also, remember, if you have business driving or employees driving, please go to www.businessdefensivedriving.com, we can help with your online corporate driver training needs.
