Students often inquire, When can I print my Certificate? or What if I am fast reader-Can I complete the course faster?
This is a great forum to provide accurate information to assist with selecting the proper approved defensive driving course. Texas State Approved Defensive Driving courses are not authorized to have a Certificate of Completion printed online for ticket dismissal. Along the same note, there are no defensive driving courses in Texas that may be completed in fewer than six hours. By law, all courses must be a minimum of six hours. Another common assumption is that if I take a course that is located in my city or that is classroom based, the Certificate will be handed out upon completion. Defensive driving courses in Texas are not allowed to hand students certificates.
