It can happen anytime and anywhereJuly 21, 2011 | in The Daily Drive
The fact of the matter is, accidents happen. I was on my way to pick up my daughter yesterday and someone decided that the two lanes for turning were really only one and as she casually made her way into my lane, I had to apply my brakes and horn, nearly ran off the road, to avoid the inevitable crash.
The other driver was not using a cell phone, just was a bad driver. It takes just that instant and you are introduced to another individual whom you probably would have never met.
It really does not take that long… but the consequences of not paying attention, of not exercising mature driving behaviors, controlling your speed, not driving distracted and or being aware of your surroundings, defensive driving, can be a real problem.
