National Police Week
May 10, 2010 | in Helping You Drive SafelyI read today that a man called 911 to report a robbery but actually only needed a ride home. He said he was walking along a street when a car pulled up to him, drew a gun, took his money and fled. When the police arrived and found inconsistencies in his story, he admitted to fabricating the entire story because he had no more minutes to use on his cell phone and 911 was the only call he could make! WOW, now that is one way to get on the cops bad side!
May 9 thru May 15 is National Police Week. While no one wants to get pulled over and receive a traffic ticket, it sure is nice to know the police are out there to protect and serve! I’d like to say thanks to all of our fallen policemen and women who have given their lives to protect others.
Remember, if you get a traffic ticket, visit us at www.DefensiveDriving.com. We provide the most education and up-to-date driver safety training!
