Nuns and Spaghetti

Posted on by Defensive Driving | in You don't see that everyday!

Going to a movie in orange county, CA (the Kaleidoscope off crown valley) with my girlfriend at the time. Having a great day and a good time, she wanted to get me excited before just because she could and I couldn’t say no, essentially a big tease and an inside joke. So I’m very distracted And i exit the freeway and approach the red light to make a right turn. The car in front of makes a right then stops abruptly. I’m following too close of course and end up hitting her. So my pants are down literally and Im in panic mode. We both pull into a gas station and I get presentable, get out of the car and begin to approach the vehicle when I notice that it smells like an Italian oven. As I look in there is a sweet innocent little old nun covered in spaghetti with her garlic toast in the cup holder and underneath the gas pedal. My heart instantly sank to my stomach. From the grace of God there was no damage to either cars. It didn’t matter to her tho even if there was a little damage, you could tell she was always in forgive mode. She told us to go catch the movie, be more careful on the road and to go to church. I love nuns. We watched the movie and ended up making spaghetti and garlic toast later that night and cheersing to the nun.. Love those nuns.
