Please take care of your vehicle!
July 1, 2010 | in Helping You Drive SafelyThinking about defensive driving all day sure makes you pay attention while on the road. Since I am on the road for at least two hours a day, I get to see a ton of things that are mind blowing to me. Generally, I notice poor driving skills, distracted driving and unsafe driving. This morning, I noticed something a little different – negligent vehicle care. The black stuff pouring out from behind the van pictured left is a steady stream of exhaust! Tailpipe smoke is a result of incomplete fuel combustion, which is usually caused from improper engine operation. When a vehicle and its engine are not properly maintained, the likelihood of engine problems and smoke increases.
There should be some enforcement in the maintenance of vehicles are on our roads today!
