Top Ten States for Speeding Tickets
July 1, 2010 | in The Daily DriveThere is a very interesting study put out by the National Motorists Association www.motorists.org. With everyone on the road over the 4th of July holiday, there are several states you should avoid speeding in. The funny thing is they determined the rankings based on Internet searches of terms related to traffic and speeding tickets.
Really, not a big surprise on the Top Ten and where my state resides! The top ten states (and a district) where motorists are most likely getting tickets are:
1) Florida
2 tie) Georgia
2 tie) Nevada
4) Texas
5) Alabama
6) Missouri
7) New York
8) North Carolina
9) District of Columbia
10) New Jersey
So if you are traveling over the holiday weekend, remember this list and if you get a ticket, take either DefensiveDriving.com’s State Approved Defensive Driving in Texas or our Traffic School for Florida for ticket dismissal, because the odds are in your favor or getting ticket in these states!
Be safe…
