You Can’t Tell Me How To Drive.
May 25, 2011 | in My Kind of Driving“I’ve been driving for 50 years. You can’t tell me how to drive.” This is the attitude several drivers take when it comes to taking a driver safety course. They have been driving the same way for so long they are offend by the notion of a police officer telling them they made a mistake and a judge telling them to go to a driving safety school to learn some new skills.
My comment to those drivers are, times change and technology changes. You cant expect those antiquated skills to be relative to today’s vehicles and driving conditions. DefensiveDriving.com’s on-line driver safety course is aimed at educating and correcting bad driving habits and encouraging mature driving.
Just about every profession requires people in their designated fields to stay in touch with current trends, procedures and advancements in technologies by taking classes. Just imagine if your doctor has been practicing the same kind of medicine for 50 years and never once learned the new, safer ways to treat patients. He would be doing more harm than good.
Our state approved defensive driving course is not full of jokes, or light banter; but it is full of clear, well researched tips and proven techniques to make our students safer drivers.
