Why you should take DefensiveDriving.com!

The economy is great, everyone is happy, there is no need for extra efforts on part of cities, states and the country to collect money right?   Well, apparently you have not been around for the last three years, because the economy is downright terrible and there are some states and cities getting creative. Houston, Texas is no exception.

The City of Houston has had to make substantial cuts in personnel and the city is operating under a tremendous deficit.   It’s the same story as elsewhere, property values are falling, tax revenues are down, companies are not buying, the price of gas is up so no one is traveling, as a result, cities are getting creative.   Houston decided it would give a two week amnesty program.   If you owe an outstanding traffic or parking ticket, you need to pay it before 6/6.   If you don’t – they are going to throw you in jail?   Am I serious?   Look at this video from Channel 13.   They are serious, they want their money.   It is traffic ticket Armageddon!   The best way to avoid all of this to start?   Take a state approved defensive driving course of an approved traffic school – you will pay a reduced fee, learn something you did not know about driver safety and get your ticket dismissed.   That way you will not have the threat of “getting pulled over on 610 with the family, get cuffed and taken away!”
