As an everyday person and a Manager I am always aware of what many people dread, customer service. I started working for DefensiveDriving.com, Texas‘ original online driver safety course seven years ago. Working at DefensiveDriving.com has taught me the fundamentals of working at any company. Life is customer service. In DefensiveDriving.com’s daily quest to provide better service, we often run into call center resources where people are looking for customer service examples. I decided to provide a scenario of one of many customer service calls for defensive driving courses in Texas.

Twice we have had scenarios where our students, at the very last minute, needed their Certificate of Completion for ticket dismissal. The Texas Department of Licensing and Registration has a rule that firmly prevents online driver safety course providers from handing a Certificate of Completion to the student after successful completion of Texas driver programs. Well, one of our students completed our online driver safety course on a Sunday and needed the Certificate for ticket dismissal first thing Monday morning. I was contacted at home to assist with arranging a courier pick-up for ticket dismissal.

Long story short, a courier retrieved the students Certificate Monday, and the court accepted the Certificate of Completion for a successful ticket dismissal. Not only would the student be able to use the Certificate of Completion for ticket dismissal, the student would be able to enjoy significant discounts for auto insurance.Our defensive driving courses in Texas are good for discounts for auto insurance for three years!
