Singapore is currently in a trial period testing the world’s first self-driving taxi service with members of the public selected to take a ride.

The auto industry and the communications industry are clashing when it comes to talking cars, as cable television and high-tech industries want to use government radio airwaves for Wi-Fi services, and therefore inhibiting the auto industry.

The National Safety Council is reporting that Labor Day 2016 could be the most deadly since 2008 as car crash deaths are rising in the U.S.

U.S. auto sales in August dropped 5.2 percent compared to August 2015, as forecasters predict that 2015 was peak for the auto sales industry.

Mobileye and Delphi Automotive have announced a partnership to help speed up the self-driving car technology process.

Volvo is investing in partnerships and technology to help make their cars more efficient and autonomous and as such, is quietly becoming a tech superpower.

Verizon looks to move past its competitors by purchasing two vehicle tracking firms and investing in car technology.
