When Is Truck Month?

“Truck Month” has for whatever reason become a never-ending ad campaign across all major auto brands. We used search data to see when people are most searching for “Truck Month” on Google. We were in pursuit of the answer “When Is Truck Month?”

Using this data from Google we were able to come to the reliable conclusion that “Truck Month” is February through March. This season, also dubbed “Truckurary”, is part of an advertising campaign that can be counted on to run at both local and national levels.

Similar incentives like the “Lexus December to Remember” don’t require the invention of a fictional month, however, lack the ever-green flexibility of Truck Month. The “Volkswagen Sign Then Drive”-event more closely mirrors Truck Month.

The interesting thing about Truck Month is that there’s searches for it all year long, with different brands and local dealerships promoting it all throughout the year. What this means is that every month is truck month.

Since it’s not a real thing, there’s no real reason to wait. There is no evidence that you will actually receive a better deal during this time. So while Truck Month in 2019 may have already happened this year, you should still be able to get many of the same deals. If you still believe in the magic of Truck Month though, Truck Month 2020 will happen in February through March of next year.
